For the Travel Sketching enthusiast Vietnam is a wonderful location.

It is a peaceful place,

a picturesque place,

a friendly place -the perfect patch of paradise to relax and develop new skills.

There is time to wander, time to sit and sketch in the company of a skilled tutor and a group of like-minded souls.

This is what the ‘Travel Sketching- Vietnam’ has to offer- all the details are taken care of, so you have the chance to be immersed in a rich culture, beautiful landscape, good food and welcoming villages excorted by our talented tutor.

Our resident tutor is Leonie Norton, well known botanical artist and tutor. She also takes travel sketching tours in Australia and overseas. We travelled together with Holiday Sketching 2008 and look forward to doing so again.

We will start in atmospheric Old Hanoi and then travel into the countryside, stay in comfortable hotels and visit picturesque villages.

As the mood suits us and the scenery inspires us, we have the chance to stop, wander and sketch. Scenery will range from the old Town of Hanoi to rice paddies, bustling little village markets, riverscapes, lush rainforest to the magical rock formations of Halong Bay.

Creative Arts Safaris Tours are fully escorted, small group tours that focus textiles, arts and culture and yummy local cuisine.

On tour we like to get our hands dirty taking workshops, exploring locations and culture, in addition to including lots of local experiences.

Our friendly groups are inclusive. They are companionable and well organized allowing a relaxed adventure and great for solo travellers.

Tours include pickup & drop to airport, accommodation, group travel, sightseeing, workshops, and most meals; almost everything EXCEPT the shopping – that is your job.
