We endeavour to meet all dietary requirements as much as possible. Please ensure you advise us of your dietary requirements when confirming your booking with us. We arrange a variety of shared meals in many of the best local restaurants. Individually sourced by our Creative Arts Safaris team for their quality of local produce, location and cultural experience. In some locations we have huge jugs of filtered water for water which you can use to refill your bottles.  

Cultural Tours & Artisan workshops

CAS is all about hands-on experiences whether with local artisans and experts or invited tutors.

Many tours include personalised workshops for our Creative Arts Safaris guests. These are guided by our local experts for hands-on experiences.

Invited Tutors & Tuition

Highly regarded and artistically skilled, our Creative Arts Safaris Tutors offer engaging workshops to enhance your enjoyment throughout your tour.

Note: Reconfirm your individual tour itinerary for the specifics as not every one of our tours includes an Invited Tutor.

What is not included in your tour:

Your passport,  visas and vaccinations

• Your passports need to be up to date and valid for the 6 months after your tour
• You need to ensure that you have all the relevant visas
• Consult with your medical professionals to confirm which vaccinations and medications are relevant to you

Your comprehensive travel insurance

• It is essential you purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance
• We suggest you purchase top level comprehensive travel insurance as soon as you book your flights and tour
• Creative Arts Safaris will not accept responsibility for flight delays or lost luggage

Other exclusions:

• A few meals that are not included in your tour cost - please check your specific tour itinerary
• Bottled water - we recommend you drink at least 2 to 3 litres of water each day and also have bottled water available to clean your teeth
• All drinks
• Tips - we recommend you allow for tips for any personal services

For example, when your bag / laundry or room service is delivered to your room. We also suggest you plan to tip our driver and/or translator who will look after you safely for the duration of the trip

Additional Tour Information 
Your adventure starts when we pick you up from the airport or meet you at our start hotel. Your tour finishes when we drop you back to the airport at the end of your tour.

Your tour itinerary

• Each tour is thoroughly research and created based on our 20 years plus of industry experience
• We personally visit each destination and build relationships with our local providers to create bespoke and different itineraries
• Every detail is intricately planned to create a memorable experience with a new group of like-minded travellers
• We include the iconic, well-known attractions however also often visit sites where there are no other tourists!

Your airport transfers  -   please review your specific itinerary

• Pick up from the nominated airport on day 1 of your tour or Madrid - we will meet you at our start hotel
• We organise airport pickups for whatever time you arrive day or night
• If you are coming a few days early and going to the start hotel we will still organise your airport pickup

·       Return airport transfer is on the departure day of your tour only day or night

Your accommodation

• Our accommodation is on a twin share basis [please ask about a single room supplement if that is what you desire]
• If you plan to arrive a bit earlier ask us for information on the property your tour starts from so you can book additional nights if you want to
• We favour heritage style, family run accommodation where possible. Our properties range from simple home stays [clean, friendly and western style bathrooms] to palaces
• It is the personality of the property and hospitality team we are looking for and a sense of being ‘there’ when choosing our accommodation [with some hotels you need to look at the location on the newspaper to be able to know which place you are in!]
• It is the local ambiance and friendliness we are looking for
• You can then explore local restaurants and shops in your free time
• This is the accommodation range where we may meet the locals as well as experience a closer cultural connection

Your transportation

• Generally, our transportation is a clean and reliable, air-conditioned minibus, and includes all fuel, road taxes and driver accommodation
• We include many local options to add more fun, such as camels, tuk-tuks, rickshaws or taxis, boating and a luxury houseboat in Vietnam. It’s all dependent on the location and your specific itinerary

Your sightseeing

• We select a variety of interesting, iconic sites and also more unique and less touristy attractions to help create a memorable journey for you

Your meals

• We will factor in your dietary requirements as much as possible, however please keep in mind that often the translation to the local language can also create interesting options to try!
• We believe food is an integral part of the culture and have carefully chosen a wide range of good dining experiences to represent that
• Please make sure you mention any allergies or dietary restrictions when filling in the Booking Form

• Sessions are designed to enhance your enjoyment and also help build your creative confidence

Your Privacy

• We are very careful of your privacy
• Your details are collected solely for our records and to make bookings at hotels, attractions etc
• We do not disclose your details to any third party, unless it is directly related to bookings we need to make for our tour

Creative Arts Safaris payment schedule, refunds policy and cancellation policy

Note:

If tour numbers are insufficient and this necessitates in the cancellation of your tour, your entire deposit will be repaid in full.

Payment schedule

• A deposit of 40% of your tour cost is due when you book with us
• As well as all marked fields in your Booking Form completed
• We understand you may still be organising flights, visas and comprehensive travel insurance. We need those details as soon as you have them
• Your full tour balance is due 4 months from your tour departure date
• We accept bank transfers – here is a link to our payments page with more information.

Refunds policy

• If you need to cancel or change to another trip before the final payment date, there is an AUD$500 administration fee applied
• Certain costs may be non-recoverable, such as pre-booked internal flights or other pre-arranged extras
• We will process your refund where possible
• If you leave a tour after it has commenced, no refund will be issued

Cancellation policy

• While most cancellations occur due to very unfortunate circumstances such as illness or bereavement, we are unable to make exceptions to our Cancellation Policy
• We have found efforts to secure replacement guests or fill last minute vacancies are rarely successful
• We strongly recommend you arrange Comprehensive Travel Insurance coverage for cancellations when you book your flight and tour with us

More than 4 months prior to departure

• AUD $500 administration fee and any disbursements will be withheld - all other monies paid will be refunded or transfer entire deposit [except any disbursements] to another tour
• At 4 months prior to departure refunds are not available aside by exception

Photographic authorisation

 - I agree to granting Creative Arts Safaris full permission to use photographs, videos, or other recordings of me during the tour for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes without compensation

I understand that I am responsible for:

  - Obtaining necessary travel documents

  - Ensuring my passport validity

  - Acquiring my required visas and vaccinations

  - Meeting entry requirements for all destinations

  - Maintaining appropriate comprehensive travel insurance

I acknowledge that international travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  - Physical injury or illness

  - Potential exposure to infectious diseases

  - Transportation accidents

  - Natural disasters

  - Political unrest or civil disturbances

  - Extreme weather conditions

  - Cultural and environmental challenges

  - Potential limitations of medical facilities in remote locations

Legal Jurisdiction

Any legal disputes arising from this tour shall be resolved under Australian Law within the NSW jurisdiction.
