After extensive research, I discovered that the best way to send funds overseas is not through my fee-free bank account but via an online transfer service.

Bank-to-Bank Transfers

Initially, I preferred traditional bank-to-bank transfers for their ease of tracking. My bank offers a user-friendly, fee-free transfer service, which I thought was fantastic.

Exploring Other Options

However, I recently decided to explore other options, especially since many guests prefer paying with their credit cards to benefit from travel insurance.

My Choice: Wise.com

After comparing the options, I found that Wise.com offers significant savings on overseas payments. Switching to Wise.com will help me save a substantial amount over the year.

Check out their fees- they are transparent. They are the cheapest option, often, unless your bank sends without fees and gives a better exchange rate.

They allow you to use your credit card to make the payment, or you can pop funds into your wise account- which is the cheapest method.

Please Note if sending money to us, you must add our bank details when you list us as your recipient.

This is important– funds arrive within 2 days- there are no more charges

If you choose to send to our email address funds will take 7 to 10 days and further fees are cut getting it into our bank account- these fees will be passed along to you.
