#septtextilelove What Textile Travel Tools do we use?

Day 19 Tools

Ability to research and learn is my biggest tool when it comes to my pursuit of textiles.

I love to learn about the how, the where, the why and their connections to textiles being created historically and in the present.

The story associated with textiles as the fruit of our labours, really excites me.

The World is vast, and we are finally starting to look at history from many angles not just that of the powerful or victor…. It makes the stories far juicier and opens up some dark passages along the way.

Underlying history is the shining light of humanities’ ingenuity shining through the evolution of our textile-based culture.

We offer fully escorted Textile & Craft Tours; that is small group tours that focus textiles, arts and culture and yummy local cuisine.

On tour we like to get our hands dirty taking workshops. We like exploring locations and culture, including lots of local experiences.

Our friendly groups welcome women and men, they are companionable and well organized allowing a relaxed adventure.

Included are pickup & drop to airport, accommodation, group travel, sightseeing, workshops and most meals.

We look after most things EXCEPT the shopping – that is your job.
