Slow Crafting Adventure is what I first named it, but the more the plan developed it started to look like Textile Treasure Hunt will be more apt.

The idea has developed
It is a kind of un-tour trip.
Usually I am so careful to stretch my guests a little- throw them in a rickshaw type thing- but generally avoid crazy busy or too much of that type of thing.

Well here we go- it will be busy BUT ohh so much fun. The Indian Jones of textile adventure.😜

The aim is to wander through textile supplies heaven.
You need to be prepared to dive, with me, into the back lanes of Old Delhi- wade through the crowds, thread your way amongst the traffic, ride a rickshaw, metro or hoof it as needed.
You will be rewarded with alley ways of gorgeous braids, shops full of buttons , tiny nooks with scissors in every size imaginable, fabric markets that stretch on for ever… well not quite but they are huge.
It is the world the locals inhabit not what the tourists see.

It is for the serious textile addict and the eternally curious- you need to be a bit adventurous.

A real adventure- so much fun and sparkle you will be dazzled.
We will also sprinkle in a few places like Red Fort, a few designers who focus on conservation and hand made excellence and The Rock Garden in Chandigarh.

Why The Rock Garden you might ask? – You will need a quite day, The Rock Garden is amazing- a flight of fantasy, amazing recycling and because I LOVE it and been looking for someone to share it with.

Take a look back through FB, you see some of my days of R&D

On tour we like to get our hands dirty taking workshops, exploring locations and culture. We like to include lots of local experiences. Textiles and crafts are our passion.
Our friendly groups are inclusive. They are companionable and well organized allowing a relaxed adventure, great for solo travellers.
They include pickup & drop to airport, accommodation, group travel, sightseeing, workshops, and most meals. Almost everything EXCEPT the shopping – that is your job. Help the local economy.
