Office day Thursday…
Predictable, my mind wanders onto the places that make office day worthwhile.
Unique to India, especially in the northwest in Rajasthan and Gujarat there was a tradition of building Stepwells.
A show of wealth, there are many reasons for their existence- water of course they are spring fed, meeting places, refuges and retreats.
I find them fascinating and have made it a mission to visit as many as I can in my travels. No one tour can take you to all of them, but if you have a month or so I am sure I could be persuaded to take you one a drive to visit a lot of them 
dreams… Praveen is already wiping his brow- haha.
Any trip you take with us to Rajasthan or Gujarat will surely encompass such wonders
