 Arrivals We pick you up from airport any time day or night and transfer you to our start hotel. 
Day 2 Thursday 24.4.25Stay BucharestB,L,D
 AM – walk to introduce the city and history of Romania. It is exciting to be in a new place, let’s fill our eyes so we are ready to start work this afternoon. 
 We’ll have lunch together 
 PM – introduction workshop and warm-up sketching session with Susan Yeates 
 Welcome dinner in evening 
Day 3 Fri 25.4.25Stay BucharestB
 The pace will be slow with time to sit a while here and there to sketch as we wander. This morning, we will head out to the Open-Air Museum via metro. It has a good display of traditional houses in a pretty village setting 
 There are so many beautiful Churches around us for inspiration, the colours used to paint the Icons might catch your eye. 
 Later a visit to the Golden Horde of Romania in National Museum stunning- ancient gold helmet and jewels 
Day 4 Sat 26.4.25Stay SibiuB,D
 The drive is about 4 hrs on a good road through beautiful countryside to Sibiu. 
 Easy to find a place to stop and sketch. 
 We can look for a wildflower filled cemetery. The crosses on Romanian graves are distinctive and beautiful. 
 Sibiu Old City is on the tentative list for World Heritage with many beautiful houses and buildings. Famous for the ‘Eyes’ in the roofs of the houses. Afternoon at leisure to find a good vantage point to catch those Eyes. 
 We will have dinner together in a traditional Romanian Restaurant- bring your appetite the food is filling and delicious. Before dinner let’s have a share and review session with Susan 
Day 5 Sun 27.4.25Stay SibiuB
 Day trip to the ancient fortress -Corvin’s Castle. Fairy book style Castle with gothic towers, a moat, and huge walls. Slow day, time for sightseeing and to sit and sketch. 
Day 6 Mon 28.4.25Stay BrasovB,D
 Leaving Sibiu we will arrive in Brasov before lunch. Take funicular rail up for bird’s eye view of the city 
 Lunch and afternoon is free to explore. Beautiful tall, old houses and narrow alley ways. 
 We will meet up again for dinner, good time to share our work too. 
Day 7 Tues 29.4.25Stay BrasovB,L
 Day trip to the World Heritage village of Viscri. Famous for its Fortified Saxon Church, it is a quaint little village. 
 Lunch will be in one of their famous Farm-to-Plate Restaurants. 
Day 8 Wed 30.4.25Stay BrasovB
 We will explore a little today- beautiful mountains and villages around Brasov, let’s find the perfect spot to soak up the view and sketch. 
Day 9 Thurs 1.5.25Stay BucharestB,L,D
 We are visiting a family home to take a workshop in Egg Painting- this is a much-loved traditional craft of Romania. 
 Lunch will be a homecooked family meal 
 Peles Castle this afternoon- it is amazing complex and beautiful. We will arrange a meeting time, you will have a ticket with full access and will need to make the decision how much you sightsee or stop to sketch. 
 Return to Bucharest and our Farewell Dinner 
Day10 Fri 2.5.25DeparturesB
 We will drop you to meet your flights
